Is it weird if a girl holds the door for you (a guy)?

Well, I don't know about the guy ur talking about, but for me, I wouldn't feel emasculated at all.
Alternatively however, if a girl saw me coming up behind her and just dropped the door in my face, that'd be a big turn off. lol... Manners matter. Thinking of other people is important.

Don't worry about it. It's common courtesy and no other though beyond that. I wouldn't think anything of it other than that was nice of you to do. If a guy feels that way, he's got some issues I would think that go well beyond that, and you'll find that out in other ways lol

Nope. Here in Canada, whoever gets to the door first holds the door open for everyone. It would be rude if you didn't hold the door open.

Other places might be different though.

First, It depends on whether he likes you back. If he's doesn't like you then it could be a put off, but at that point you shouldn't care. Holding the door shows you have character and aren't afraid to be you. Two things that are essential if a relationship between you and this guy's is to be real.

I've done it before and it's more awkward than anything. Guys still try to make me walk before them though so I'm there holding the door but they won't go in or are hesitant
