Guys - do you find a girl who has a lisp unattractive?

I've suffered with a lisp my whole life. My friend back 2 years ago in 9th grade was like, "You have a lisp." And I kinda knew I had one, but then I just came to the realization and I become really self conscience. Around friends and family I'm usually okay...but with someone I like, or someone I'm trying to impress (like parents) I steer away from using the letter S and I end up stuttering. And that might not be just because of my lisp but because my mind goes blank or I'm thinking too much.

I've had boyfriends before, they never seem to notice. But I HATE talking to people who I like, or want to impress...but If they are just friends I really don't care. My friends say it isn't bad at all and it's cute...but yeah.

I just have bad communication skills.

I think it's cute.

The best way to deal with it is to defeat your fear. I have the same problem too, and for years was self-conscious of it, until I joined a nearby speech group (Toastmasters). It scared the crap outta me at first but now I am more confident in speaking and I can approach most anybody to chat, even those I have a crush on. Toastmasters especially will teach you techniques and methods to overcome the fear of talking, which in turn will make you speak better. Don't be afraid of how you talk, your friends are right, it's cute I'm sure!

Yeah I don't mind, it can be kind of cute but its not at all something that would make me unattracted to someone. Its really not that big a deal, yeah id notice it but how shallow would I need to be to not like someone for the sake of not being able to say words involving S. not to be rude or anything but I find it kind of funny how the word lisp itself is spelt with an S which anyone with one would struggle to say :P
