he could possibly be interested. he could want to know if you are single so that he knows whether he has a chance with you. the real way to tell if he's interested is if he contacts you after you've given him your number. he now knows that you're interested (since you gave him your number), so the ball is in his court now.
how long has it been since you gave him your number? if a guy really likes you, nothing will stop him from texting you as soon as he can.
if it's only been one or two days, don't worry- he may be holding off on texting you because he doesn't want to come across as desperate. however, if it has been more than a week, I say let him go- he obviously doesn't care that much about talking to you if he isn't calling or texting you.
thats a very personal question and if a guy asked me that, I would think he is interested or else he won't bother asking. because if a guy really likes a girl, he wants to know first if the coast is clear before he wastes his time on someone taken right? 2nd, maybe he hasn't called yet because he's busy or he lost your number or he's still contemplating what's the next move. OR it could be one of his friends is interested in you. and he hasn't talked to his friend yet and gave youyr number. yea it could be you never know. so yeah just chill. :)
Well there is a possibility that his interested or he may just have been wondering. But I wouldn't want to ask a guy if he had a girlfriend just in case he did start to think I liked him, so he most likely does have feelings for you. But still be open minded that it was just a question to be nice like you said. If he hasn't text you yet doesn't mean his not interested he might not want to seem too pushy, so wait a while...Time will tell:)
It doesn't 100% mean he's interested in you. It could just mean he's wants to know what's going on b.c maybe he heard things..(Speaking from my experience) but it also could mean he's thinking about hooking up with you in the future. or simply just curious.. Also the reason he hasn't contacted you could be anything.. but once a girl gives a guy her number it's just male nature not to call A.S.A.P b.c some girls think that's creepy..

It could be just plain curiosity. Or he's superficially attracted to you but it's just a tiny spark and nothing which he wants to pursue. I say go for other guys!
