Men can't stand to be ignored... is this true?

Long story short, I am ignoring a man who lead me to believe that we might have a relationship together. The one thing I know is that he has some kind of feelings for me,whether they are romantic or not. I ignored him for a few days, now he is trying to ignore me.

Is it true that men can't stand being ignored by a woman they might have some feelings for? Or is he just going to stuff this behind the man curtain of invulnerability?

It sends mixed signals and I do not believe it brings you any closer to getting with this person. Think about how it makes you feel to have it done to you. When a guy starts to ignore me it starts ripping at my feelings for him because he has then done something that makes me feel bad/sad. Also it may lead the person that is being ignored to feel maybe the other person doesn't like them anymore. It is part of the games, and some people just don't want to play them.

Hey there. I'm not trying to send a mixed signal. I am done with this guy because what he did to me was horrible. I just want him to taste a little bit of the pain he caused me. To tell you the truth, the sadistic side of me is really enjoying this.

Oh ok...I didn't really think you were 'trying' to send a mixed signal. I thought you liked the guy and I was concerend that if you made any progress with him, that by now ignoring him you might be chipping away at that. But now it sounds like you don't like him anyway..... :)

Yes they hate it, it's damaging to their egos, especially when they expect you to be thinking about them and going crazy over them, when you ignore them they think "what happened?" and it usually makes them try harder

I was ignored by one girl who I had feelings for, drove me insane to the point I walked away from it.
