My boyfriend absolutely hates PDA. He won't hold my hand or kiss me or show ANY affection whatsoever when we're in public. He said he hates seeing people that are all over each other when they're out. I can understand that, because it bothers me to, but holding hands isn't all over eachother! Seriously!
We went to a park in our town with two of our friends (another couple) and it was late so we were the only people there and he STILL wouldn't hold my hand or kiss me or anything. I asked him why and he said he hated PDA. It wasn't even PDA! We were in public, yes, but there wasn't anyone there except for the other couple who were doing the same thing.
Does he just not want anyone to know? or what? Help me!

Does he introduce you as his girlfriend? Here's the thing, I'm not very into PDA's either. I don't like to hold hands 'cause my hand gets sweaty and I feel like I'm stuck (it's weird I know), kissing I don't mind.as long as it's a small peck. If it's in the bedroom it's a totall different story. Some people just aren't into PDA's.even the smallest ones. It's just not them.
Ugh that's exactly how it is. At his house it's perfect and he's loving and everything. We don;t really introduce each other as that because we both kind of thing the "this is my girlfriend, this is my boyfriend" is kind of cliche, also we're co-workers so we're technically not supposed to be involved.
I wouldn't worry about it then. that's how I am...I love my fiance. I am just not into being like that outside our bedroom. I think it's because my parents were like that too. Family dynamics play a huge part in it.

Sounds like he's shy. I was in a relationship like that. Another issue might be that you guys are too much of "friends". If you hang out too much, a relationship can get stale quickly.

And the problem is.... us girls want to be with our man 24/7! and the problem with that; he's not missing you- which you need him to do. I think its deeper than an issue with PDA
Well, I'm leaving town for a week next week... should I try not to talk to him very much while I'm gone... then back off more before I leave and after I get back? Usually he's the one asking me to come over...
I depends on what you think. I wouldn't ignore him BUT if your on vacation or whatever, don't spend your entire time talking to him. let him call you at least once a day to see what each other is doing. you seem to have a good relationship with him... if you can, answer my Q! ;-)

Ok so my computer won't let me click on your question... lol, my wireless is being tempermental lol. But from what I gathered from what I could read is that maybe he's kind of unsure about the basis of your relationship. If at first you did the deed a lot he might have gotten the idea that that's all the realationship was about. I doubt he thinks you're a pervert. Feel free to tell me some more :)
