I'm not talking annoying either, like constantly. More-so when he first sees me he tries to poke me or touches my shoulder. Or I'll hear him whispering my name and he'll be be behind me somewhere. One time he was with his friends, and he disappeared when I turned around, only to reappear 2 seconds later. It seemed like he was being kind of playful, not like he was trying to run away.
Also, I asked him if he wanted to hang out and he suggested this weekend but I can't then. So, he said I "owe him a rain check."
The thing is I know I like him; I just don't want to be reading into something that may not be there.
The other day I was talking to a girl I'm friends with about something that made me pretty angry. I'm not usually a very angry person but I've been dealing with some idiot professor drama. Anyways, while I was talking to my friend he walked by and ran his hand across my shoulder briefly and said hello. He said he wasn't sure if I was able to talk to anyone at the moment but that he still wanted to say hello. I felt pretty terrible too, hoping I didn't give him the wrong impression.
