Why do nurses flirt with patients?

I ask because a nurse literally got upset when another nurse was gonna come do my vitals she went no that’s my patient

If they want to flirt , no one can stop them. If you like her , give her a chance. Nurses too have a right to love and if that guy is as charming as you , why not?

Yeah but isn’t there a ethical code for something like this I’m going into healthcare and if I worked in a hospital I would never flirt with a sick patient

The flirting will stop immediately , if you show that you are not interested in her. Her service is good , so you should not feel bad. She may not be doing this with all guys. So you may be the only special one. So excuse her if you felt really bad about what she did. In my opinion love should have no limits to where it should bloom. And if love begins in the hospital , than why not. Tomorrow if she becomes your wife , you will always look at her with pride. So think that way.

I just think that it’s a really bad spot cause your in a helpless spot and she is in control especially with the fact she’s in and out of the room injecting medicine into your iv

Then just take the treatment and forget about her interest in you and reject he's flirts and ask her to behave in her professional ways. May be some other guy may fall in love with her before you get well and go back to her when you are in better control situation.

And when you come to realize that your feelings are actually the feelings of love , the love may shift elsewhere if you don't keep your doors open to receive it well in time. Well I woke up during the middle of the night and heard her and some other nurses saying how cute I was and talking about my age

oh believe me, i know, i def. had a hard time sleeping.. when i was in the hospital. i was depressed though, so that was part of it

Yeah like I got another dose of medicine at 2am then I tried to go back to sleep literally seconds later a code red went off and the flashing fire lights were all going off
