Are secret admirers cool or creepy?

I've been getting anonymous messages from someone. They're harmless messages, small talk really, but I can't get this person to tell me who he/she is. I can't decide if it's cool or creepy. What do you think?

Definitely creepy. If it were me, I'd tell such person that he/she is getting blocked and/or reported unless he/she reveals him/herself.
Also I'd prefer to use the term "stalker" in this case because it better implies the creepiness. Aside from wondering who this person is, how did this person get your number?
And the way I see it, the only difference between a secret admirer and a stalker is the "victim's" feelings toward the one doing it.

It depends on what their intentions are. If they don’t except anything then it’s ok. If they do which they eventually might so you shouldn’t lead them on in case they do, if they do what I’d like they try to find you in real life or something and they are the crazy type. It’s better safe then sorry there are a lot of crazy people out there.

I think the idea is cool by itself until they ask you to do weird stuff or start asking creepy question. Just listen to your intuition and if you see some red flags - tell them or drop the whole thing off.

I’m desperate for attention and I know that. So knowing me I’d initially be excited but I’ve also had many clingy and borderline stalker people in my life. So I think it would eventually creep me out.
