Does my neighbor like me?

Every time I see him he smiles at me and asks how I am and I get really nervous and say good thanks and practically run away :S but then the other day he was working on his car and we did the usual, him asking how I was but then he started a conversation saying I was always on the move and I stupidly said that he was always at the car (trying to be funny) and then he started talking about what he needed to do with it and how it's hard because of the rain and blah blah (I was too nervous to take much in lol), then the conversation kind of ended and I left. When I came back he was still there and he said that he didn't mean to say that I was always on the move and that he should rephrase it and he was trying to say what he meant and then I said I knew what he meant and was trying to talk to him but sounded like an idiot, so I just introduced myself and he did too and shook my hand and then said if I ever needed anything that I know where he is and I said thanks and ran away. I have seen him a couple of times since and we have just smile and said hi... I feel really awkward and just need some advice so I can relax a little haha

This should help you to relax, you know this guy is at least interested in you because he went out of his way to talk to you. So you already have nothing to worry about. When you see him just say something that will start a conversation, like "So how was your Christmas and New Years this year?" then say "mine was" and just start talking. Soon you will be in conversation and hopefully you will learn a little more about this person.

he's just a guy. Just remember he's just another person, and he could be your friend. and if you are too scared to just talk to him then how will you ever know if he is a good friend or not?

should give it a shot, he seems like a friendly guy.

Aw cute :p Well if he's the outgoing/talkative type naturally, he may just be trying to be friendly but if he isn't and he made this much effort to talk to you and if he keeps trying to talk to you it might be something more :)
