I think you can make that horse nose work man. Truly. A strong broken greek nose just needs a strong foundation so build it brother. Your half compliment means you have something to work with. I've gotten "skinny jonah hill" and "handsome mclovin" so I'm very familiar with being half-decent looking; the other half is being half-ugly.
If said by a woman, it usually means she thinks you are good looking, but SHE doesn't find you attractive enough to date you. She is likely dropping hints that she doesn't want you to think of her romantically, but at the same time wants to make sure you know that it isn't you, but it is just her preference.
I may be wrong though, because women are a huge mystery and I have never been able to understand what they say, think or do.
I agree with what some of the guys said. If I was friends with a guy and I wanted to give him a compliment but wasn't attracted to him I would probably say something like that. It's a good thing, unless you're interested romantically in the person saying it I guess.
It just means you're alright, the person may not be attracted to you but that doesn't mean you are ugly. It just means you okay, you never seen someone I thought they were okay but didn't have a strong attraction pull towards them? Happens all the time.

I’d think they were saying something along the lines of I’m not into you but you probably wouldn’t scare a baby. When they think you’re attractive a lot of times they just avoid complimenting your looks all together.
Sounds like something a girl would say to try reassure a guy some girl out there will like him when he starts bitching about how shit his dating life is even if there's no or little truth to what she said.
When i say this I mean it in the nicest way possible. as in "your not my cup of tea" but i can clearly see why another person would be attractive to you.

I find that a pity compliment. It's meant to be a compliment but they don't want to lie 100%. It's like a 50% lie. Or a white lie. Or a backhanded compliment
Most likely just saying you aren't unattractive. Like it almost sounds like something someone would say to try and boost your confidence. I would take it as a win though as they didn't ca you ugly or anything of the sort
