Why would my friend tease me about my ex boyfriend?

He brought my ex boyfriend up twice in our conversation. Asking if that is who I'm going to see and then I told him I was seeing a doctor and he says "Who Dr. Dre?" My ex boyfriends name is Dre. Why would he do that?

I get that feeling too. This ex boyfriend of mine goes back YEARS ago. My friend called me before he went to bed lastnight and we talked for an hour about a lot of things. He was worried about what I was going to do after we got off the phone and asking what time I'm going to bed. Little things that makes me wonder a lot.

Yea I am going to give him a chance. I really like him too. I will be seeing him next month finally, I am really looking forward to it, I feel nervous and excited thinking about seeing him. I wonder what that would be like since he does like me! The last time we haven't seen each other in a while he came over and kissed me on the cheek, but since he likes me who knows what he'll do lol!

He called again, and again he was teasing me about my exbf, he asked me what I was going to do tomorrow I told him I gotta make an appt to see my doc and he says "Who then, Dr. DRE?" ha ha I laughed and told him yea probably. ha ha He start laughing. We talked for an whole hour, I got quiet and he came with the question of "Ayy...What are you doing?" I told him I was trying to figure out a password. I didn't think he'd call back 3 days later after telling me "He'd call back 1 of these days!"

he sounds like he's being very sophmoric about your situation; try not to talk about your PAST relationships with someone who is remotely into you...

especially since he is teasing you about it...try to change the subject
