The problem is nobody is direct anymore. I can be friendly, etc. It doesn't mean I like you more than a friend. I can be attracted to you. That still doesn't mean I want to date you. What matters is the words not just the actions. If they don't want to date you they won't. If they like you and won't try to talk to you, that means their expecting you to make a move. Though it's extremely risky before some say your harassing them. And the ones who are there one minute and gone the next, may be not interested but overall is c9nfused about what they want. And the ones who act interested one minute and cold the next but still seeks you out are playing hard to get and are attention seekers. Listen to people who are verbally direct! It's all about how you come off and approach us. If you play games, most of us will mimic you and play games back. You don't want games, don't play games. Be direct. The problem is you cannot expect every girl you don't know to like you if they're not already sexually interested in you the moment they see you.

If she likes you, she’ll reach out to you often. She’ll send lots of :) and ;) faces in her messages. She’ll suggest you meet in person. She’ll remember specific things about you and ask lots of questions about your life, interests, and hobbies.

I think some (not all) men are either too forward or too naive about reading signals from women. The guy will either think the woman is totally into him when she’s just being nice, or he won’t realize she likes him until she actually says those words.
