Guys, do you check out girls discretely or do you usually make it obvious?

What type of body language would imply that you are letting it be obvious? When do you decide to keep it discrete?

Ok, so im not the best guy to ask, im normally oblivious, but when i do check someone out, or if i am interested in someone, if i choose to be discreet about it, i normally start by looking around them, identify a sign, person, car, or something else i can talk about, so that in the case that i get a glare back i can say "oh dont worry i was just looking at the thing beside or behind u"

For me im a shy bugger, ill only make it obvious if i plan on going ahead and flirting, in which case i typically will go with the "nod" look at her from her head to her toe, meet her at her eyes and try to say something flattering

Always obvious, I like to let the girl know I'm looking at her, the reactions are usually funny.

Not in the same time, but we make it obvious when we want girl to notice us, but usually we check it discretely because we are curious pigs
