What does it mean when guys give you jewelry?

So I don't really like jewelry, but I wear a lot of plastic bracelets, and I guess you could say I'm into somewhat 'emo' jewelry.

A guy knows all this, and he found a blue rubber bracelet made to look like its made out of barbed wire I love it! it's so 'me' and I was just wondering if this means something. Or if I' expected to do something else

Also he's always flirting with me. Joking around by what it would be like if we got together. (I'm a saddist, he's a masochist.) And we often joke around about this sort of thing.

Does he like me? What do you guys think?

This is a serious indication of interest, he would be okay with the idea of being in a relationship with you.

If he got you the bracelet based on what he thinks you liked, that's even better.
