378 opinions shared on Flirting topic. I'm not really into overly huge, cut muscles on guys. My guy is built big in general. He's tall, he's bulky, he's strong, and he's got quite a bit of muscle. He could bench me easily [and then some, despite having multiple health issues that leave him in nearly constant pain], and I'm not a small girl. He's not a guy anyone would really want to pick a fight with. But his muscle isn't popping out everywhere, I like that, it's more subtle. He's just a burly dude, and I'm attracted to that because it works for him. I'd like and be just as attracted to him if he were a tall skinny dude with lean [but nearly undetectable] muscle, but he's not, he's a big guy.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yshoulder muslces I will look over almost anything for great shoulders. Arms are good too, but not overly bulky. Abs are nice but I like the bulier abs rather than the skinny defined ones. Just not overly muscled (body builder), because that's gross. Ill choose a skinny guy over a overly muscled guy.

+1 yi love muscles. and I hate it when dudes who don't put any effort in their appearance look for the fashionable, fit girls. it's ridiculous.

thats kind of callous thinking
- +1 y
it's rational thinking.
if someone puts a lot of effort in their own appearance, it means that they appreciate a nice appearance.
so if a guy doesn't look like he cares about that too, well you get the point...
- +1 y
i agree, earn your worth
+1 yas long as your not a fat hag, that isn't able to get outta the house without having to tear down a wall of your house and get your fatass outta there with a forklift you got it made. oh and if you don't blow away in the wind when a slight wind starts to pick up

A good pair of abs is all your really need. Everything else is trivial. I have never met a girl who hasn't gone ga ga over a 6 pack.

Am I the only one who got "Likes white guys; hates black people" out of that?
+1 yMuscles don't matter too much to me, but who wouldn't love muscles like Channing Tatum? I don't care, just as long as he is stronger than me, because I personally like to go to weight room, call me crazy, and I wouldn't want to have someone really weak.
Mainly cause I want him to protect me. If we were in an alley and some gang bangers came up, I would want him to fight (if it came to that, I don't really like fighting), not hold my purse while I take care of business:D
Hope that helps:)08 Reply- +1 y
All due respect, but if "some gang bangers" come up and your Boyfriend decides to fight, he's an idiot. xD I'd be more inclined to throw something at them and yell "run". If you HAD to fight, it should only be long enough to run. And strength has little to do with that. Book to the face, kick to the testicles, heavy purse to the head.. all superior to punching someone with your beefy fist. I admit, however, it would be amusing to see you attempt to "take care of business". Real life is not a movie.
- +1 y
Haha I was just making an example, but I see you're point:)
- +1 y
well, I would just throw her on my back, shoot them with my lazer beam eyes, fly back to my place, and have some wonderful alone time ;)

where the f*** would you be living in a gang banger area? lol. this isn't the old ass time where people did that like 60 years ago
Anonymous(30-35)+1 yi love guys with muscles :) especially if they have really thick necks and really defined backs, its the best part OR if guys have a really defined "V" that's peaking out of their boxers... (sigh) really hot :D I love to be cuddled up next to a guy that can wrap his arms around me and make me feel like a tiny little girl, I've got some unwanted chub :/ its nice to feel tiny sometimes :) thick guys make me feel that way :) (ps this is a really fun question)

Haha nice answer.

i love thick necks too! thought I was the only one who did :) meks me wanna bite themmmmm
Opinion Owner+1 yi know the necks are so sexy!
ooooohh lol a lot specially if it's o his chest and arms. Not necessarily body builder type, but abs and arms are my weakness. It's kinda like a nice butt and boobs to guys.

+1 ytheres no excuse for a guy not to have good-sized muscles :p
doesnt have to be massive--just pretty damn strong so that you can see some of the muscles through his t-shirt omgeeeee so hot34 Reply- +1 y
and no excuse for a girl to be fat either right?
- +1 y
sheesh I was jking but if I take care of myself nd my body I'd expect the guy I'm going out with to do the same thatss it. there's lots of diff types of attractive people out there--i just think its easier for guys to control their bodyshape than for girls..guys you just have to go to the gym. girls can go to the gym nd it doesn't alwys change what we want it to so we juss have to love our bodies the way they are
+1 yI think when you see a guy with muscles is hot. strong men that can pick you up and have your way with you are hot. It is nice to have a strong man that makes it feel like he is taking care of.
11 Reply- +1 y
...strong men that can pick you up and have their way with you... It makes me want to go to the gym just hearing that.
When I see a guy with muscles I`m instantly attracted to him. Guys with big muscles are hot but they shouldn`t be ridiculously large.

+1 yfor me it dosn't really matter if they have muscles or not. but I defiantly want them to be fit. if they have muscles, hey that's great, it'll probably make me be even more attracted to him. but if not, I won't be turned off as long as they have a cute face :)
00 ReplyWhen I'm attracted to someone muscles aren't really an issue as long as he's fit. But I do love muscles on a guy because I just feel safe in his arms, I just love the feeling:)

+1 yHot body is a must.
Six pack.
Equally proportional muscles on upper/lower body. no big on top small on bottom.110 Reply- +1 y
so your looking for a straight guy? :P

Why wouldn't I be?

Hehe beastman

Not that much muscles
- +1 y
Six pack is a requirement? Wow. You gotta be extremely gorgeous to have that as a requirement. Six packs don't come easy.
- +1 y
@NotJustAnotherGuy
Pretty easy to come by.
Most guys have it.
Most aren't proportional though that's hard to come by.
Funny how guys insist a girl has to be hot if she wants an attractive partner but they also insist on hot girls having to accept them as they are (shy, ugly, fat, not confident, socially awkward). - +1 y
You need to be about 8% body fat for a real visible six pack-- and the average male is like 22% body fat. With the average athlete being 12-14%. Most guys definitely don't have a six pack. I do not insist that you HAVE to be hot, to get someone who is hot. I'm saying you have to have perfect curves to require your partner be the 1 out of 300 people who have a six pack. Otherwise you're a hypocrite. He has to love you for your personality, but you require he has a six pack? That's bull.
- +1 y
Most guys I know have a six pack.

You are saying you have to be hot to get a hot partner.

lol at guys loving a personality I'm not naive
When did I say anything like that? - +1 y
No. You're not understanding. You said it's a requirement that they have a six pack. And yet you think you shouldn't have to meet any physical requirement? That's hypocritical. If he HAS to have a six pack, I think you should be held to the same standard. I'll say this again, you don't have to be hot to have a hot partner.. But if you're ugly, and you REQUIRE that they be hot -- that's hypocritical.
Which is why I said you gotta be pretty gorgeous to make a requirement like that. - +1 y
@NotJustAnotherGuy

Never said I don't have to meet any physical requirements.
You're adding things.
Unlike most guys who are ugly but want a hottie I'm not a hypocrite.
Not too much. Just enough to show me that he keeps in shape and lives a healthy lifestyle.

+1 ythey're nice to have. but if he doesn't, that's cool too.
01 Reply- +1 y
everyone is giving really great answers and there seems to be a general answer that a healthy/fit body is a plus. which is kind of what I expected. I tend to find and I believe most other guys find a lean/skinny body a plus, but to be honest I find a girl with slight defects in her body more attractive sometimes if her voice or attitude is more sexy than the girl with the perfect body.
Arm muscles and pecs are great. Abs are OK. Any more than that is pushing it.
14 Reply- +1 y
Personally I like arms/pecs because that happens to be what I can see when a guy is wearing all his clothing. Abs happen to be inbetween a guys shoulders and his d***. Thusly why they get noticed. I say pushing it because I'm simply not looking. Why put a ton of effort into it? Proportions are important. but I'm talking more about definition of musclues than size. I wouldn't say the rooster look is perferred.
- +1 y
Lol @ the rooster look.
not overly muscly but a nice 6 pack tight ass and not too big muscly arms :')
12 Reply- +1 y
A tight ass? What do you plan on putting in there? I'm pretty sure the only people to actually have a tight ass, are bodybuilders. Everyone else's in the world, just jiggles when you shake it-- unless maybe, if they pucker up before you grab it.
if he has the traditional male shape and the muscles aren't overpowering, they are attractive.
00 ReplyToo much muscle is definitely disgusting, at least to me, but a guy with a six pack and nice arms is definitely nice...
