Actually, I did.

I was playing my guitar downtown at San Diego

and he had had a concert two days ago and was having lunch nearby (something I was unaware of at the time). Someone told him I was playing a song of his (I?m a huge fan of his music, in case you did not notice) and he came to the spot where I was playing.. He threw 5 bucks at me and asked me if I could start the song over again so he could sing along w/me.

He gave me his manager?s number in case I ever made a demo, but I haven?t yet.
