How to make a move at the movies?

I invited my crush to the movies with me and a few friends. He said yes! He's definitely going to sit next to me becuase he doesn't really know anyone else going and is very shy. I want him to make a move like hold my hand, hug me(maybe kiss me),etc. Any ideas on how to make this happen?

P.s we are good friend...don't want it to be awkward.

well keep in mind that you are going to be friends that he doesn't know. I don't think that a guy is going to want to make a move while with your friends. I think he should flirt with him and maybe place your hand near his to see if he will grab it, but I doubt it will go too much farther. What you should try to do on the date is just flirt and make him understand that you're into him, so then he will want to ask you out on a real date with just the two of you...that or you can just tell your friends not to come this time lol

Really depends on the movie. If it's a horror movie then you could fake being scared and literally jump into his arms (lean into him, half scream etc...don't scream too loudly!).

You could share popcorn and happen to pick some out at the same time, when he looks at you then act all shy but smile at him and flirt with your body posture / eyes.

Or you could make the first move and hold his hand :P
