He flirts but then ignores me!

Ok so one day this guy starts a conversation (almost seems like he goes out of his way to also smiling the whole time kinda shy) next day ignores you in class then on the way out trys to make conversation and then next day completely ignores doesn't try to talk? but smiles if you talk in a group kinda looks at you (I don't know if its just me) what the hell answers please!

See, in any context, what you havegiven as his behavior could mean anything. anything at all. But the way you've presented it shows that you already have an inkling as to what his intentions are.

I'll bite, I think he's into you from what you have shown. I mean, the whole "ignores you" thing is very subjective. You said yourself that he was shy, perhaps he just didn't feel like going out of his way to start a conversation, because HE"S SHY. see how this works? Any time a guy is acting abnormally, and yet is spending more and more time with you, he's probably into you.

Ok this is it. Guy likes you so he starts a conversation, goes out of his way to talk and smiles. Ignores you next day because he doesn't know if it got you to like him. Doesn't know if you think what he does is stupid. So basicly he pays attention to you cause he likes you. When you think he is ignoring you in his mind he is going what should I do. Should I talk she might get annoyed I just talked yesterday. Should I smile she might think I'm desperate. Always remember this When a guy doesn't say anything after having flirted the previous day it is always one thing. SELF DOUBT!

Ok, here's the scoop. He acts differently around you then anyone else= he's interested in you.

I would say that shyness is probably getting the better of him.

He might be trying to get you to flirt with him, he wants you to come up to him and start a conversation or something. He might like you, which would support my theory above and in that case you can easily find out by his body language when you talk to him. You know he is shy, you should talk to him and see why he is so wierd, although, many guys do this.

This happened to me once, I talked to this girl that I knew for abit and nothing sparked throughout that large conversation, it felt dull to me so I didn't want anything to do with this girl anymore. In other words you may have bored him and he just doesn't care anymore. You gotta catch his attention again or else he'll forget about you and just move on.

I was just like this guy your talking about see the thing is that it was probably hard for him to keep his conversation going. He more than likely likes you but feels its to hard to keep the conversation going so gives up in a since and hoping you to strike the next conversation.
