the term cock blocker is usually reserved for someone that is supposed to be on your side (friend/relative/friend-group) that when the moment comes up where you meet someone and start talking they jump in and ruin that moment.

Outside of that - (people you dont know) - its just competition.

Mm people do this for lots of reasons. It’s not usually for that reason. I wouldn’t go to a club with a friend I felt competitive jealous vibes with. That’s just no fun.
I have cock blocked a couple times. Mainly if the guy is by himself and has no friends. No it’s not because I’m jealous that the guy is hot and choosing my friend over me. It’s because it’s lame because then I’m standing there alone and it’s just annoying to then have to separate from my friend to talk to guys. Girls usually like to stay with their female friend when talking to guys.
The other reason to cockblock would be for a similar reason. Like maybe there are two friends and one is hot and one is ugly. It’s not about being jealous or competitive that your friend got the hotter one it’s that you then have to stand there and talk to the ugly one. So it’s basically like the above situation. Sometimes the guy might be rude instead of ugly and has same affect.
This can work in reverse too with women. However, I find a lot of males and willing to sacrifice talking to a shit woman in order for their mate to get laid. Women aren’t usually willing to make this sacrifice.
So all I can say is. If you go out to pick up women/ men Make sure the guy/ girl you go with is not really rude or way less hot than you are. Coz otherwise you’ll get cockblocked a fair bit.
This is just my observation from going out to bars a lot in my 20s.

I am not quite sure, except that she always liked attention from guys and this time she wanted more.. they had an affair for like a month, while she was naïve saying her boyfriend was the man she wanted to have kids with and she just wanted to be friends with the guy, but then they saw each other and whoops, they had sex again and again :S.. she finally came to some sense and stopped all contact.
Her then boyfriend was her first, maybe she could not have went through life with only one man xD.. They were together several years after without him knowing, and when he ended it she was crazy for guys again, slept with more than 30 within a year.

Now she is more calm and has a solid relationship. Hope she has changed for real

Yes accidentally. A friend and I were looking for a guy friend to make sure he was okay since he had had a lot to drink. So we opened the bathroom door and he was about to get a bj from a girl.
