well i did that as a kid because my older bro and his friends wouldn't let me play lol. also there were moments i couldn't beat and so i let them beat it for me so i can see what else happens in the game.

but yeah there were other times where i'd go to a friends house and he'd just play a single player game and im like "why did i come over again?"

My scariest moment was in Halo, in the attached mission, "Guilty Spark 343". If you never played Halo, it's not a horror game. It's a POV shooter, where you wade through level after level of enemies coming from all sides with various tactics, equipment, etc.

That's why this level was so brilliant. I'd been playing for hours, and it was a spooky 3 am time when I finally got to this level. All of a sudden, where there had been endless gunfire for hours, it was dead silent and really damn spooky. The enemies I was going to kill were already dead, their blood and parts splattered all over the walls.

When I finally got to the climax of the scene, I freaked out and of course, died almost immediately.
