Subtle signs that a guy likes you?

Will keep it brief. I work with him, I get the impression he hasn’t dated too much, I don’t think he has any real idea I fancy him but I’ve definitely subtly implied it, so I have 2 questions:

1.) what are very subtle signs that a guy fancies you?

2.) how do you flirt without being overly blatant?

If he hasn't dated much, he is likely shy, so his subtle signs are likely to be shy guy signs.

- He most likely won't initiate conversation or messaging very often, mainly due to his fear that it becomes obvious that he likes you and you reject him.

- He will always be nice/kind to you. If you ask for help, he will always do anything for you.

- He will disappear if he sees you talking to or flirting with other good looking guys, or he will avoid events or situations where you will be in the company of a guy you are close to.

Well first off, if you flirt too subtly, especially with a guy that might be shy, then it's not going to do anything likely as far as him asking you out or anything. You might have to be the one doing it. But "signs" are basically no different than if a woman likes a guy. Just look for the normal human behavior like will always try to be around you, or help you, talk to you, etc. The working relationship could complicate things for him also (a lot of people won't date co-workers), so that might stop him also?

Texting is your friend. You can do all sorts of things like fake drunk texts, gradually up the ante on the romance talk, etc. This dude is probably going to have to feel absolutely certain he won't get rejected before he makes a move, for what it's worth.

1) that's hard to know since some guys are shy or unpredictable. Here are some signs of "interest" : he asks you out on a date, he starts the conversation multiple times even if it ended on something dead like "lmao" or something, If he compliments you and more...

2) you could compliment him on his appearance or personality cuz guys rarely get compliments so he will probably be happy about it. You could hint for a date and see if he catches the bait
