What does it mean if my crush pulls my ponytail?

He was walking to seat in class, and He pulled my ponytail while passing me, and I turned to him and he was grinning at me. We are not friends but we have talked. And then a couple of months later when I didn't see him for a while, he would look at me as I passed by. Why did he pull my ponytail and why did he look at me as I passed by several times?

I don't think it's possible that he likes me, he is not shy, and more extroverted, and he was even poking me in my sides one day, and looking at me as I walked by.

I think he likes you. If he's poking you sounds like he was flirting. He doesn't hurt you right? If he didn't like you he wouldn't pay you any attention at all.

When I was a freshman this girl walked into me on purpose. So what she did was she saw me coming and she looked away and bumped into me. It obvious that she just did it on purpose. Well it was the same guy I was talking about, but I don't know if it would've been on purpose or not bc I moved my arm, but if I didn't I most definitely would've bumped into him
