What does it mean when my crush tightly grabs my wrist?

Today in Math class I spotted spider. And all of my other friends were freaking out and it was weird. Anyways I grabbed my assignment notebook and tried to pick the spider up but it stoped moving. I don't know what kind of spider it was but it was very big and black. So that's when my crush got interested in what's going on. He gets up and runs around by me then he screams AHHH A SPIDER and grabs my wrist tightly like almost like he meant to pull me back but all I can say is that he tried getting away from it and he tightly grabs my wrist. It did hurt but I don't know why he did that. Can someone help me figure out why he did this

I can't say why he would do that, but if i was in the same situation as him. I would have grabed your waist because i wanted to touch you can help you get rid of the spider.

He is probably afraid of spiders and grabbed you in response to seeing it
