Guys, What's your favorite mode of communication?

Some guys are more into physical displays (and acts of service/kindness) than words, others express themselves through music or creative paths. Some guys actually are great with words and are comfortable being more direct... What's your favorite mode of communication?

I really like texting actually. I can text all day and not use up too much energy but with calling or in person it takes way more energy. And I like the neat and tidyness of texting. But you can still be expressive or deep or emotional if you want to. I feel like you can build a special connection through texting that is different from the real life connection. If both people like texting and are good at it and focus on it.

Texting can be nice for short messages, but I confess sometimes I get tripped up. I missed an important text the other day and it made things a little awkward for a beat or two in the convo. When it comes to longer interaction I'm much more of an in-person type -- which *does* take more energy, but it's a happy sort of energy, if that makes sense...

I definitely prefer verbally communicating. I live in my thoughts 99% of the time and being able to relay those thoughts is sometimes hard because they can get confusing. When they're intricate or long thoughts, I find that putting them into words on paper or text organizes my thoughts and helps me express them a bit easier. I usually just stick with verbal communication though.

Physical communication has always been less natural to me than others.

For my girlfriend, I'm a hugger, handshaker, peck kisser, cuddler. Not too much in public, not too much at home either. I do think it's nice to have a girlfriend who's keen on being you know cool, calm, touchy feely with their emotions and like positive touch when timely 😋👀👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
