How to make a conversation with the guy if you're a boring person with not to talk about?

there's a guy at my workplace that I only say hi and bye and even when we are together, we never have any conversation. Then one day he suddenly asks me about my favorite to go drink at Starbucks and buy me the drink the next day. And he then starts asking me about my favorite food and stuffs and offer to get me the things i likes.

I am interested in him; however I dont know if he's being nice or do actually like me too?
Also he doesn’t talk to me if we in the room with other people, and it is so awkward that i dont know if should approach to make a conversation with him. What would be a best way to start conversation and what would i talk about. Please help

Okay so there is always the chance that he does like you if he started talking to you and really hadn't before. He also may just trying to be able to make a workplace connection. It is impossible to say just from the details you give. You can figure that out by talking to him. As far as how to start a conversation you can ask him the same things he is asking you. Try and lead the conversation and learn more about him. Look for signs he is interested. Here is the problem though. It is never a good idea to date coworkers. What happens if everything is going well and then there is a huge blowup and things end poorly? How is having to face each other at work going to go? Just something to think about. It is ultimately your choice.

Just be yourself, ask questions about how his day is going, ask what comes to mind as log as it's appropriate. Look up youtube videos to help start and keep a conversation going. He prob likes you if he bought you a drink. He could also just be nice but doubt it

He likes you. Don't think about what you are going to talk about. Just go be a person.

Ask more questions than you answer. Engage him by asking about himself, easy smalltalk like things about his job and current events, but also things like what’s his favorite color, what does he think about this hobby or that hobby, etc.
