Honestly we don't even talk a lot but he works with me and I just started saying hi whenever I saw him and then one time he said goodbye when I was leaving.

And then next time I said hi he actually said hi BACK and asked me how my day was which baffled me and my other coworker because bro didn't know he could talk that much.

And yeah we have small talks like that and while I kind want to talk to him more I'm concerned that I might just be bothering him so how am I supposed to know how much I should say? 😭

I'll tell you the same thing I tell everyone asking about a colleague they like. Leave it be. Your work is not a nightclub or place to socialize. Dating a coworker if it were to get to that point is the absolute worst idea. You are being paid to work not use the place to flirt and pickup guys. Here is why I say this. Let's assume you two start dating. Everything is all peachy for a while and then... disaster strikes. You two have a monumental blowup and break up because he cheated on you with Jennifer from reception. Uh oh. Now you have to face the dirt bag cheater every day or find a new job.
