Why does my boyfriend laugh when I flirt with him?

I've been in a relationship the past 4 months and when ever I flirt with my boyfriend he starts to giggle. He says he thinks I'm being really cute and it makes him laugh when I'm being so straight forward. I want to understand why he giggles because as it is right now I don't want to flirt with him at all because it feels like he is laughing at me like I'm doing something wrong or silly when I'm trying to be flirty or sexy.

He probably thinks that you don't know how to flirt and that your attempts are clumsy.

It does not have to be insulting but he makes you understand that the way you flirt is perhaps odd. Without talking with him, you will never know.

It is never nice to know that people are laughing at you rather than to laugh with you. It could also be that you express yourself in such a way that it makes him laugh at how cute you look when you flirt with him.

I simply would refrain from future attempts to flirt with a person that you are in a relation anyway. Since you are in a relation, there is no need to flirt.
