I’ve noticed her sneaking glances but still unsure if she’s interested?

There’s a girl who I’ve recently developed feelings for. We don’t know each other too well but we have mutual friends.

After talking to her for an evening, I started to try to make eye contact over the next week or so. She would end up staring back.

This was until we had an experience where we met eyes and gazed for a few seconds.

Ever since then, I’m pretty sure I’ve noticed her stealing glances when I’m not looking, sometimes turning back to look when leaving and avoiding eye contact when she’s in front of me. My other friend even noticed her staring across the room at where we were sitting.

Additionally when I’m with mutual friends, she’ll try talking to them and avoid talking to me (although this could be because we don’t know one another too well).

I’m not sure if she likes me or not as she seems pretty shy so wouldn’t make any bold actions.

seems like when she sparks convo with your friends while you are there she's tryna draw attention to herself, possibly to you. I've had a girl tell me she does that when she's targeting a guy in a friend group. Seems like she could want just to start a convo with or maybe she fully likes you but girls are just as scared as guys are when it comes to the first move. Go for it.
