What is a cute voice?

What does it mean if someone tells you that you have a cute voice? How is it different from a beautiful voice?

Although I'm not an acoustical engineer (an engineer who specializes in the science of sound and vibration) I did study acoustics. Much like smells and tastes, humans find specific noises or vibrations either pleasant or uncomfortable. Voices are no different.

A woman with a high pitched "squeaky" voice is like fingernails on a chalkboard to most men, while a lower pitched "breathy voice" (think Lauren Becall) is thought to be extremely sexy. A cute voice falls into the higher pitch range, but without the squeak.

A pleasant speaking voice is a huge plus for women who, (ladies, I'm sorry to say it), tend to talk more than men. My own SO has a lovely voice- not cute, but very peasant to the ear.

A cute voice would be they love how you sound.

the tone, inflection, accent, how it sounds to their ears, that makes it cute or what and how we say it.

Yes a voice can be cute.

Beautiful would be more on the lines of how lovely it sounds, usually it’s in response to someone reading out loud or singing, they would say ‘you have a lovely voice’

I think using the word "cute" to describe someone's voice is grammatically incorrect.

Yes but that is incorrect. Cute, cuteness is a term which is used to either describe the physical features, facial features of a person and many times it can also be used to describe a person's personality aspects as well.

Not for voice though.

I can't really explain it, so I'll just give examples based on my taste:

Jennifer Connelly has a beautiful voice.
Ariana Grande has a cute (speaking) voice.

I guess it means it sounds sweet or pleasant. I've never gotten that, my voice is weird lol.
