What to do if you are about to quit and you have feelings for your co-worker?

I’m about to quit a position I had 6 months ago. I feel like over the last month he has been trying to flirt with me in a subtle way. Especially when he complimented my shirt and kept teasing me about not asking him about questions about his life. When we were having dinner with the team I also felt chemistry with him when we locked eyes. Either he’s just flirty or he has feelings I’m not sure. But when I told him I will quit he looked emotional. How to approach the situation? We have each other’s numbers but I don't know if we would talk when we quit (we never talked before outside of work matters).

Tell him. Don't have regrets. Better to try than not at all. I have too many 'not at all' scenarios and not enough times I tried. Trying is always better. Could be the best thing that could happen to you both. So do it!
