Why do guys tease girls?

im really curious..well this guy I know that was in my class lastyear always constantly teased me and was flirtatious with me (he sat next to me) and acted mean(jokingly),but he never approached me once still.guys,why do you tease girls all the time to get their attention instead of just talking?what is going through your mind at the time?

I think that guys tease girls to see if the girls are really interested in them or not. Guys also do this to test their patience and breaking point. A guy will do this to see what he can and cannot get away with. Another reason why also tease girls is that they might not feel confident or comfortable with themselves talking to a girl in a honest normal manner. They might have a hard time expressing themselves and their emotions. I hope my advice can help you out in some way or fashion and best of luck with this guy that's teasing you! this makes no sense how did he never aproach you if he teased you? either way teasing tends to be an easier activity because if you say something stupid then its taken as you messing around howver if your actually talking to her and say the same thing you look dumb

i guess I get what your saying..i meant approach as in just try to have a normal conversation by being nice, but I guess guys would rather mess arnd which I don't mind

maybe mess was the wrong word if you say something wrong when teasing a girl your more likley to be forgiven then when your having a conversation

I do it because it's fun. I tease girls whether I'm attracted to her or not. Were you hoping that he would approach you?

no I really don't care,it was actually kinda fun.i was just curious because most guys would rather flirt with girls.so even if you don't like the girl at all and have no interest in her whatsoever youd tease her?

Ya'll (boys like it when a girl teases, because if she didn't then there wouldn't be any mystery to it. It would be like OK lets get this over with... where is the fun in that? :)
