Why do guys like teasing girls?

But it's probably the same reason girls lead guys on all the time.

Also, you shouldn't be too paranoid...to put in perspective, if a guy asks you out or is even flirting with you, he probably is interested in you on some level.

It's a complete myth that guys make moves on women they don't like, so don't buy that if you've heard it.

It is possible that the guy may not be sure how much he likes the girl when he makes a move...and this is especially true if he makes a move shortly after meeting her. What this usually means is that something about her caught his eye and he wants to get to know her better. The unfortunate thing is that a woman may mistake this to be more than it really is...especially if the guy appears to be really confident.

Of course, he's going to act confident because that's what women want...but you shouldn't just go by that when trying to determine how much he likes you. A guy who doesn't appear at all confident might like you more than one who does...all depends upon what his reasons are. Don't just go by what the guy tells you but use common sense in the matter. If he's only known you for a day, you couldn't possibly be the love of his life...yet.

What's also often the case is that the guy and girl are interested in each other for different reasons that aren't compatible. Like maybe the guy only wants sex, and the woman is looking for an actual relationship.

There are also a number of things a woman can do that will scare some guys off, just as there are things guys do that scare women off. I say some guys because not all are that easily scared off.

Teasing get's us your attention. And we guys LOVE a woman's attention.

But we rarely tease girls we don't want. So if he's teasing you then he's likely into you.

If you're SURE he's not into you then he's teasing you because he's an asshole who's desperate to feel good about himself. Ignore him because his life is just going to get more and more pathetic.

@YourAonymousGirl Teasing is like flirting. It's a fun energy and it's fun to make girls squeal and give us their attention, even if that attention is anger or annoyance. If you don't like it then just tell him. But most times this a form of affection. At least it is between men... we love teasing each other.

it makes them feel better about themselves knowing they have control. usually these are the guys with low self-confidence and are very conservative.. but sometimes you have to be aware the the "nice respectful" guys. sometimes nice guys can seem that way but most of the time they are just being genuine..
