Yes, that sounds like a guy who might be interested. If someone seems to be going out of their way to show you attention, seems to want to be near you, and seems to welcome you interrupting/disturbing him... then It sounds like he might indeed be interested. This isn't as clear-cut as many cases that get asked about here. But based on what you said, it sounds promising.
