Guy bends down to whisper in my ear?

This happened a few years ago and just popped into my head… I was at a street art festival with a group of my friends and a guy friend of mine brought someone he had met with him (let’s call him ‘P’) that day to tag along with him to the art fest. We were discussing one of the performance art pieces and we were all sharing our perspectives before the artist shared the meaning behind their work. Then when my perspective was proven to be wrong the ‘Guy P’, bent down from behind me and whispered into my ear in a playful way and kinda gave me a slight smile when I turned back to look at him just to say- that I was wrong. Also the venue was not even loud despite being outdoors. I’m in the 5’2” range and this chap was around 5’10/5’11. PS. He spent most of the night tagging along with my friends and I till 3:00/4:00 AM. but didn’t really talk to me all that much after this incident... I was really confused if he was flirting with me or not, but yes he was a beautiful chap and I would definitely like to try and understand what really was happening and if he was flirting or am I just imagining things…
