So a girl I like chose the seat next to me one day in class because she usually sits next to a friend and someone else sat next to her friend that day.
I started liking her because I noticed she was really smart and confident and is a lesbian and I’m bi too but not many people know because I’m femme. Last semester we had another class and I walked in and she stared at me longingly for a few seconds as I walked up the aisle to my seat and I broke it and looked away.
I’ve seen her have other acquaintances but she also seems like she’d be shy around a crush. When she sat by me she didn’t say anything but kept fidgeting. She looked kinda weird ngl. She was yawning a lot and leaned over the other way on her laptop and had one foot crossed on top of her leg and the foot was facing me. She started rubbing the bottom of her shoe and her hand was near mine when she was doing it.
Was she trying to get close to me in a way by doing this or touch me? Was it nerves?

I honestly think it is just nerves or social anxiety, but I think maybe if she persists with this then it could indicate something more

Yes, but also how do you know she’s not just trying to get your attention?

I don't know. I just thought if she wanted my attention then she would maybe just talk to me.
