Because it’s too painful, and frankly disingenuous, to not acknowledge the obvious. Is the man who doesn’t become bright-eyed, smile, and engaged in the presence of a woman, really a man? Hell, I’ve had men flirt with my partner in front of me (it happens quite a bit actually). I’ve even been told (by my partner) I was flirting while talking to another man. At some level, it’s really just being appreciative and friendly.

As a little reminder that your partner has a guy who other women want to flirt with is usually a turn on, induces as sense of pride its their man and a motivator to impress him themselves.

That said, I'm thinking about the type of flirting where it's just ego boosting and not taken too seriously by the flirtee. An easy smile, a gentle touch when helping out and working to make them feel included in a group situation.

I'm not thinking about the kind of partner who ignores his own partner and her needs and and flirts with all the girls about, leaving her out and obviously prefering them instead, thats just a plain creep.

It's usually an ego boost. Which I get - because men are almost never told that they look attractive so it's nice to feel appreciated or like you still got your mojo. But flirting with other women while you're in a relationship is always a shitty thing to do.

Because they aren’t satisfied in their current relationship , something is missing in the relationship so they seek it elsewhere, if a guy is truly in love with a girl he won’t flirt
