Two nights ago I was drinking with a couple of my friends and there was this one girl there. While I was grabbing something off the coffee table the girl walked behind me and rubbed her arm down my side. I looked at her and gave her a couple silly pokes on the side back. She then said that "I did that because I needed you to move". If she needed me to move out the way she could've said so... do you girls/guys think she was flirting by trying to find a way to engage in physical contact with me?

Dude, I think she was definitely flirting with you! Girls don't usually just randomly rub up on a guy like that out of nowhere. She totally could have asked you to move or just waited 2 seconds instead of making up that silly excuse.

Sounds like she was feeling brave being a little tipsy and wanted to find an excuse to touch you, see how you'd react too. And you poking her back playfully was a good sign you were into it. Nice move bro!

I'd say you should try talking to her more one on one next time you're all hanging out. Maybe find a reason to stand a little closer together while you chat, see if she's acting shy or keeping eye contact with you a lot.

If the vibe seems good again, you could even think about suggesting you two sneak off for a few minutes alone together. A kiss could totally happen if the moment's right, feel me? Don't be too shy to make a move dude, seems like she's into you!

Just play it cool and see where things go. Worst case, you'll know for sure if she's feeling it. But my gut says go for it man, sounds promising!
