Girls are truly not smart. Most of you probably don't even realize your swooning over a 5'9 guy? Sorry I just made you vomit in your mouth. Yes, he is only 5'9 celebheights.com sorry to ruin your taste in him.

Depp's talent and success is what makes him shine. For what he's done with his life, he truly
has not let height define him, so I would say it
really doesn't matter unless you let it limit you.
I've seen short girls prefer oafs who are 6'2 and
it really just looks weird. But I'm sure it's probably
the sense of security (or the illusion of it) that makes
them choose that way. I'm 5'8" and for some reason girls my exact height or taller seem to prefer me, while girls 5'4 and such want tall, lanky blokes. I don't get it, but who really cares how people think. A stronger, more confidant woman will look to a fella who has something they find special, not a guy who superficially towers over them. Also, Depp is really not short in my opinion. But I agree he seems taller on screen. He certainly knows how to morph his image via hair, clothes, accessories, etc., and that's more than a lot of us guys have figured out lol.

Dude just think of it like this. You're still taller than Tom Cruise, and he's the bomb back in the day before that whole scientology crap. You know, there's a reason short people exist.  They clearly had short parents, thus meaning you're not totally screwed if you're short.  You're an inch over the global average height for males around the world.  If you think height is the sole reason women don't look at you, you're mistaken.
