In all my life I’ve never flirted.

Unless standing in a way that highlights the chest is considered that 😂.

Verbal flirts seems like a way to embarrass oneself if it’s not planned and makes sense.

But if it’s planned.. then it’s not exactly genuine and I appreciate genuine interactions, to be honest.

Flirting- at a certain age- seemed useless as well because it’s not *communicating directly,* and it’s a longggg path to commit to when in reality two of the people interacting may just want something so simple like sex lol.

Whenever I saw people flirt in my old high school I laughed, and I’d try to be polite now, and not laugh, if I saw adults flirting 🥹😂 Like please- don’t.

Just get a room. Someone join their hands already! 🗣️ Lol

Only when I'm interested in that person.

People will quit easily mistake my kindness/positivity for flirting. Although I don't mind someone seeing the good in a certain situation, I don't mean to upset anyone once they realise I have no romantic interest in them. So I often directly state something like "it might seem like I'm trying to flirt right now, I am not, I just want to tell you I think you are really nice and I like you presence". As far as I know, that always works. They'll feel complimented and less conscious about any other intentions.

You know, it's a funny thing… For the longest time I didn't think I was flirting, but occasionally I'd be accused of flirting when I didn't realize I was! I guess I don't know what flirting consists of, really. I thought it was just having a good time talking with a good looking girl!
