last night we had a mean looking guy come into our work, i didn't see him but later she came up to me jokingly and said why wasn't i there to protect her then she asked me to commute with her i guess to make her feel protected. she asked some questions like where i lived and if i lived on my own. another colleague joined us too. is there anything there to read into?

It depends.
If you two were in an actual shady neighborhood, then no, she was just being honest with you and was nervous about being on her own in an unfamiliar or unsafe place.
If there aren't any threats and you guys have been there a million times, etc. with no problems, then yeah she's flirting.
it wasn't really that shady of an area, popular busy city area. i think she was just paranoid from that mean guy. she does that commute alone from what i know all the time.
No, she just wants company and body guard.
My boss does that all the time.
It doesn't mean anything.
She might have been flirting, but mostly I read this as wanting protecting from Bruno.("Bruno?" It would be just my luck that a GAGgger is a Windsor chap named Bruno who reads this, sees me, figures out my identity and beats me up.)
Nah, i don't thinks so.
Hopefully not.
Certainly not.
Nope. Nothing to read in.
