How does one properly hug the opposite gender?

since I decently taller then most girls I usually hug over the shoulders. 1. A medium(medium time holding and pressure) squeeze chest to chest hug. 2. Guy relatives get a handshake. Female releatives get a short hug. 3. Someone I love...a long tight hug. 4. Over shoulder hug with my head rested on hers and hold the hug for a while. 5. I give a bro hug. Starts as a handshake turns in to a should/chest bump. Added with a pat on the back if its been awhile or something bad has happened. 6. Iv never hugged somebody I didn't like. 7. Over her shoulders hug but with my hands on her butt.

I like a hug that's tight and close and whos watching doesn't matter! I like to give hugs with one arm over and one under where they meet in the middle of the back. like it when I'm givin one around the waist.

Idk, I hug everyone the same, both arms around the waist! (Under the arms) Also, when someone refuses to hug me...then it becomes my mission to hug them...but if they REALLY don't then I don't mind. There's one guy who doesn't want my hugs...idk why. But I WILL hug him soon, real soon >:)

I don't really think about it. I just do what feels natural for the moment/height difference and kinda just feel happy I get to hug someone I like (since I generally only hug those I like).

Hugging a really tall person may feel different than hugging a really short person. I don't think it matters how you hug. Just do whatever feels right for you.
