Are most girls attention whores?

i read it on a bodybuilding forum I go to... then I searched "attention whore" on this website, and the topics were never about guys. then... I searched it on google, and dating articles popped up about avoiding those types of girls (not guys). so, are most girls attention whores? if so, why? would you be offended if you were called an attention whore? I'm not trying to be rude, just wondering...

Guess so.

Why? Because girls depend more on opposite gender attention rather than guys.

You see, if a girl doesn't gets any attention from guys, she might get easily depressed, consider herself ugly, this evolves into low self esteem, low self confidence etc. Besides, girls are more jealous towards their own gender rather than guys are jealous towards guys.

Like girls notice that some other girl has a nice cool dress, looks good, gets attention from guys, they ask that girl out blah-blah, she wants it too. Jealousy, competition. That's why girls become attention whores -- to raise their own self esteem and to hide their true vulnerability, how actually miserable they are.

On the other hand, if some guy doesn't have any attention from girls, in most cases he doesn't even cares much, since there are alternatives like video games, sports, alcohol, friends etc.

For instance if I see some rich guy, muscular guy with athletic body, guy surrounded with girls, I honestly don't give a heck about it. I just mind my own business. And I believe many, many guys act exactly like I do.

Most girls like attention, but are not attention whores. The attention whores try to get attention from as many guys as possible so they appear to be greater in number than they really are. Normal and shy girls don't do this, so they end up making less of an impact on our perception of how girls act.

Look at fraternity guys, jocks, bodybuilders I can say this without the typical pretty people envy because I know these types. Male attention whoring isn't limited to these types of guys though.

Attention whoring doesn't mean you lack character just means you seek attention. Girls are noticed more for attention whoring than guys because most will dress the whore part so guys attention whoring is often overlooked.

It's harder and harder for girls to attract attention from guys these days. They have to compete with other slutty girls plus hookers, it's no wonder they go through so much just to get us to notice that they're alive.

So yeah, girls are attention whores, and the ones that aren't will probably die lonely. I don't think there is anything wrong with it because how else would I notice a girl?

it goes both ways. I mean.. guys "have" to be wealthy, popular, well-built... etc just like girls "have" to compete. in all honesty, they have it easier. plenty of girls with sucky character, average/below average looks, are constantly being gassed up. and guys are still expected to pay for their time (dates and stuff), but I guess I see your point

sure, there's going to be "some" poor guys and fat guys who get girls, but let's be honest. an average girl will always get laid a lot more and with a lot less effort (none at really) than a good looking dude. and ass far as gassing them up... I'd say it goes both ways. when I was at a white place (penn state), they always bend over do anything for girls and constantly compliment them. it's disgusting. now I see why they expect to be chased by everyone. pennsylvania sucks by the way, glad I left.

It depends on the person, I know some guys who are overly flamboyant to try to get tons of attention and some girls who wear outlandish outfits to draw attention.
