Does she regert rejecting me?

Hello guys, around 7 months ago I asked this girl out from my workplace, she is very shy, polite, and kind. She said I will check my schdule obviously she never did and then I knew it was a polite rejection. I moved on and lately she is back to look at me when we walk past one another. Everytime we walk by each other she gives me the look and smiles, and my workmates even caught her checking me out twice. why does she do it? does she like me back and regreting? is she friendly? or is it just in my head? also important to mention that this girl always laughs from my silly jokes while walking past me in the hallway.

Since she is very shy, polite, and kind, this is kind of hard. The shy polite kind people are the hardest to read what they are thinking, as they just mask everything under their niceness. By checking you out, she might be just checking in if you are ok from the rejection. Normally, these people hate having bad relationships with people and try to turn them positive in any way possible. Were your jokes just really funny or did she laugh just for you? Anyways this does not matter overall, you told her what you think about her, and she might be rethinking her decision. But it is up to her entirely, and you can just continue being friendly and being yourself.
