Can my crush actually passed as white or would he still be biracial?

I like someone else (my previous crush didn't reciprocate) and we're working on a science project together with 2 other classmates.

This is his physical description:

Typical, average white guy, smooth, wavy (not curly) light-brown hair, amber, deep ocean blue eyes, white as snow, so far he would be Caucasian. Though here is the surprising part. I met his parents. His father is indeed his exact replica. Both are carbon copies but his mother is really a contrast. She's black, has curly hair and dark eyes. She really is his bio mother but he looks nothing like her.

Would he still be white or mixed? He calls himself biracial but he can passed as Caucasian. I find it impressing whenever a black woman gives birth to a very, white child and the kid looks nothing like her.

Yes, he’s still biracial. Him not looking like his mom is irrelevant. She’s still his mom. He can be mistaken for white, but he’s biracial since his mom is black and his dad is white.

Yeah and it quite took me by surprise he's genetically mixed. I wouldn't never guess. His mom has the dominant genes and he still came out white like his dad, esp the blue eyes.

He would still be biracial, but yes he is also "white passing" or whatever you want to say. Interesting that he turned out that way though! White genes normally don't win out like that but sometimes they can. That sounds pretty cute though, I'm sure his mom is happy to have a son that looks so much like her husband.

yes that's impressing. Like someone else mentioned, it's likely the mother had recessive, white genes. He told him himself that growing up, a couple people used to confused his mother for a nanny. Genetics can sure be wild and unpredictable sometimes.

Why does it matter what skin colour a person has.

I was just suprised that he's mixed. He doesn't look mixed. By logic, the parent with the darker skin complexion and dominant genes (dark eyes or black hair) would generally take over.
I find it impressing when a black woman still gives birth to a very white (not even a lighter tone but white as snow), blue eyed baby with lighter, wavy hair. That's less likely to happen.

He’s biracial it’s just genetics making him look more white since he has parents of two different races.

At the same time express your feelings for your crush last thing you want to do is wait too long assuming there’s other people attracted to him someone can beat you to it.

At the end of the day I understand fear of rejection. But if rejected you’ll for one thing have closure and most importantly you won’t be wasting your time like you did on the last crush. You’ll know to move on

Genes can be interesting andom chances and wild. Normally the dominant gene and darker skin tend to dominate but then again, several other blacks must be mixed with white genes too.
I'll express my feelings for him eventually. Yeah I'll definitely not wait for too long.

Genetics is more complex than most think. In any even, mom likely possesses recessive genes for blue eyes and less melanin in the skin and she passed those onto her son.

That said, why does it matter?

His mother has all the dominant genes and he doesn't even look biracial. He doesn't even have his mom's thick, curly hair either. Even he told me that during his earlier years, his mom was confused for his nanny a couple times.
I actually think genes are wild sometimes. It's impressing how a very white, blue-eyed baby with wavy hair came from a black woman.

I live in Fl. It's not that I care but that it's impressing how he doesn't even looks biracial. I would've never guessed he was mixed. His mother has all the dominant genes and she still gave to a baby that's exactly like her husband, as white as him and with blue eyes.
