I met him a few months ago and thought he was a charming, mature man. I flirted with him a little, but I knew he wasn't the type to hit on a woman as young as me, so I built up the courage to talk to him privately and say this to his face: ''I'm attracted to you''.
His answer: ''I'm honestly flattered to hear this from a very beautiful woman, but I'm already committed''.
I apologised, I told him I didn't know he already had someone.
''It's fine. I'm not actually saying no, you're gorgeous, and you know you are, but I'm not the type to cheat'', he added.
We have been talking for days, we simply talk in a friendly way (I don't feel the need to cut him out of my life, I handle rejection well). He seems to be simply nice and polite, however, he always reminds me that I'm beautiful, he's gone as far as saying that he thinks I could model ( he complimented me for being 5'10 and skinny, and he also said I have stunning legs).
I talked to him again last night.
He was (again) talking about how he's not the type to want to have sex with any woman, I tested him a little, ''that's great. Since you're not interested in me, I can treat you like a friend''.
He kinda backed out when he replied: ''... I'm only saying you can trust me''.
What do you think his behaviour means? Is he tempted but loyal?
