that I'll let them through but find some manners to ask next time, I pick my battles and getting cut in line isn't worth making a big fuss about anything so I'd just stand my ground by saying that mentally letting them know that I'm allowing them to take the spot and that if I wasn't reasonable it wasn't gonna happen, if they want to instigate the situation then I carry my piece I'm ready for that as well.

You gotta play it smart tho, making them the aggressor gives me all the rights to defend myself it's why I'd say what I said above, they either swallow it or they can take their chances and instigate and make themselves the aggressor in the process taking away whatever right they have for whats about to happen next, they get aggressive, I say something else I know they can take the wrong way but not enough to consider me an instigator or aggressor and if they pull out any weapon I'll shoot them through my hoodie pocket giving me the full rights of self defense

If an old grandmother would do, I wouldn't react at all, but would assume that she's a bit confused. If it's a rude, younger guy, I would tell him to get in line.
