I can usually tell if they like me or not without needed to ask for confirmation

But I have done the reverse psychology question

Like saying “I know you don’t like me but…”

And then she would correct me with “who said I don’t like you!”

And I can put on my gotcha face and go “Well well, you like me huh”

Works pretty well for when you want to confirm without making things too formal or awkward

Most of the time I can tell before I ever ask… But I have a few times and most of the time it went well. If it doesn’t then oh well I have closure and can move on. Better then wasting time wondering

Yeah. I asked one guy bc there was a rumor going around. He did. We had to have a talk about it to help him manage expectations bc his move was to tell the guy I liked that he liked me... so the guy I liked would stay away from me. We all ended up parting ways, but I reconnected with the guy I liked a few years later and he'd confessed the full story... that HE had liked me but distanced himself for his friend's sake. Oh well.

I never asked someone if they liked me but I did tell a girl I liked her in middle school only to get rejected so I've never been that blunt again (in most cases). That's not the way to go about it anyways. If you like someone and think they like you too you should just hangout with them and make physical contact and see how they react to it. Do they move away immediately from your hand touching theirs or do they not seem to mind? If they don't seem to mind them make eye contact with the guy and hopefully he goes in for the kiss. Asking point blank if someone likes you will just activate a defensive mechanism and they will deny it even if they do. You will get nowhere with such a question

Yes, more than once, actually, but unfortunately I still haven’t gotten the answer that I always hope for, and I’ve had to respect that. From now on, I’ve decided to let women instigate and pursue, as it better suits my personality and protects my emotions/feelings more; even though it seems to be pretty uncommon for women to take on that role, it would at least make me feel chosen and wanted, which at the end of the day, is really all I want. ❤️‍🩹🙂
