I think a laugh or a smile is a window into a person’s heart, it can be a sign of genuine interest in the person who makes them laugh or smile. 😊 So… what’s your favourite way to make someone laugh or smile?

I'm a sucker for bad puns so I usually tell them and get a groan followed by a laugh from those around me. I also just try to be helpful to others and that usually gets a smile from them

There was a study conducted a couple decades ago to see if puns would actually make people laugh. They got a number of people to help with the test and old each one a series of 10 puns and when the tests were over, the outcome was that no pun in ten did!

The best, and easiest way, to make someone smile, is to smile at them.

To make them laugh, tell them a joke.

By shocking them with a random completely inappropriate comment or observation when they aren't expecting it. The measure of success is if they snort their drink up their nose and start coughing. :)

Yesterday, I was at Aldi and a guy in front of me bought a dozen 16" long zucchinis. When I bought my stuff, I asked the teller, "Do you know what they use to make pickle bread?" Of course, he didn't so, I said, "Dill dough". He lost his concentration for a minute or so.
