Ladies what was the dumbest or best way a guy got your attention?

I know you asked about guys but in this case it's about how I met my wife. We used to work together on an overnight shift. When I saw her, I thought she was the prettiest girl I had ever seen and I just had to get to know her. Problem was, I had never approached a girl before, they had always approached me so I had no idea what to say.

I ended up just asking her if I could write about her which got me a strange look but she said yes. I wrote her a poem, which she still has, and it eventually lead to a date and now a marriage with two great kids. So in this case, I'm the one with the dumbest way that actually worked.

As a complete stranger walking up to me when I was with several of my girlfriends on vacation out of the country and taking my hand, kissing it and telling me most beautiful woman he ever saw (which had to be BS, as I'm a long way from that), offered to buy all of us another cocktail then joined our group for lunch ending that with asking me out for dinner that evening. Turns out not as weird as I first thought as he is now and for the last 14 years been my husband. Smartest ONS I was ever on.
