Girls, What's the dumbest thing you've ever done to get a guy's attention?

Was sitting at one of my favorite spots for lunch today and these two airheads sit next to me... one ACTUALLY claims to be a teacher... The one next to me takes a call and says "Yea, we're at this place, it's like Greek or Italian or something... like... "

So I sigh and tell her what type of place it is.

She is wearing a cheap feathery coat like she just popped out of a Gatsby novel.

A very pale fellow walks in dressed all in black and orders a bordeau.

She looks at him and asks, "Oh... what's that?"

He says it's a wine and asks if she knows what wine is.

She says she's heard a little about it but doesn't know much... (Mind you, she's at least 35... so this is a pile of horse s**t, but the guy is EATING IT UP.)

He starts explaining what wine is and where it comes from and quizzes her later to make sure she learned something.

This goes on for the duration that I'm trying to choke down my dinner in the extreme effort not to laugh and point at them... Very "dinner and a movie" sort of moment. The bartender and I had a rolling dialogue muttering about how vapid the three of them were...

Then the guy played the "i have a fiancee" card and one of the two gals played the "i have a boyfriend" card... but they were flirting even more... Clearly planning to shag by the end of the night. Smh.

It was the dumbest way I've ever seen a gal pick a guy up.
